Well, I spent an exciting morning dropping off my Coupe Quattro, freshened
3B engine, and a half dozen boxes of S2 parts at George Baxter's shop.  Only
x hours and y dollars away from the long-awaited goal of driving an ersatz
S2.

Now it's time for all of you, who have already been so helpful, to
contribute in an even more substantive way :-) namely, by buying the
leftover bits.  Most of this stuff should be lying on the floor by the end
of the week.

'91 CQ

Bumper cover:  Pearl.  incl., bumper, brackets, grills.  w/o: lis. plate
bracket.  w/o fogs ,$250; $300 w/fogs

Fog lights:  one newish $60/each

Engine:  100K miles, w/ECU, w/o: A/C, alt, hyd pump, eng mount brackets.
Runs great.  Leaks oil via cam cover gasket.  174 HP would be fine in a
lighter car.  $1000

Air box assbly $75

Intercooler, smashed, one end salvagable for end cap & small parts (I'll
send it along w/anything else you buy)

Various IC hoses, look pretty good.  $25 ea.

A/C compressor, hyd pump, Alt may be avail. when I know we don't need them.
