V-8- How Much?

Hi V8 Fans,
   Some of you have contacted me privately about buying my V8 with the
32 crushed valves. My since I have already dumped $12,000 and $2100 in
repairs into this thing in 6 months of ownership it now reminds me of Phil
Hartman's wife-beautiful but deadly. If I can get anywhere near the $7700
I owe on it out of selling it it's all yours. Chris at Autobahn even has a
nice V8 you can drop right in. Someone else told me about brand new ones
for $6.5 K.
   As you might have surmised, the creep that did the timing belt that
caused this problem now is unwilling to pay anything. I also understand he
has preexisting judgments against him. What luck!
   I'm posting to see if this is a way out. If not, I'll probably (ugh)
just wind up fixing it.
