O2 sensor missing from 86 4kq

All,

Well after some week I finnaly got the car up on a lift and can definitivly
say there is no O2 sensor installed.  Looks like one of the previous owners
removed it at some point in time, I guess when they changed exhaust systems.  

The car has failed CT emisions but I have since added plugs, wires, cap and
rotor.  It passed emisions once before a year ago so I will try it again.

The real question is am I doing any damage running without the sensor?  Im
sure the default settings are rich.  Any ideas about how to proceed?
