Re: USAA
USAA is not necessarily the cheapest. I was able to ind a better rate
through my local State Farm agent. I got seriously pissed off at USAA and
dropped all my insurance with them after they raised my rates significantly
after my divorce. I had the defensive driving, the safe driver award from
the state, no tickets, only one claim for about $300 in a span of 10 years,
and the b&^%ards raised my rates. I argued with them _at length_ to no
avail. They can rot for all I care. As far as the dividends, yes they do
give out on occasion and I actually received them long after I told them to
piss off. The dividends don't ever amount to much, but it buys a few beers.
