Is this a Failing Clutch Slave Cylinder

I've seen the subject of failed clutch clave cylinders discussed quite a bit on
the list. The primary symptom seems to be that the clutch doesn't return all
the way on its own, and you have to pull it up with your toe.

Well, mine's doing that, but _only_ if I part on an incline (even a slight one)
with the nose of the car pointing uphill. OTOH, when I park with the nose
pointing downhill, no roblm at all. And it takes several hours of sitting
before it starts to do this.

Might I be lucky and only have an air bubble in the hydraulic system that is
lodging in the wrong place? Or should I replace that slave cylinder _toot
suite_?

All BTDTs, YMMVs, yada yadas appreciated.... -doug q
