Triston,

You might prefer the pan from a 93-94 S4 or S6. The newer pan has better
channeling around the oil sump, better preventing oil starvation (and
subsequently spun bearings and the like). The pan (actually just some fins
around the sump, I'm told) was revised on the 93-94 S4 from the earlier 91
200q/92 S4 design. Others may have more details on this. Sorry I can't go into
greater detail. If you're going to upgrade, it's worth looking into this issue.
