I wonder if his (coffee) mug was in front of his (other) mug when the truck
hit the brakes? IMO, there is a reason why the German auto makers resisted
cup holders (for a while). OTOH, there are just a lot of bad traffic
situations around Boulder and everyone is in a big hurry. Too much
traffic, lots of tailgating, someone hits the brakes and you better watch
out for the coffee drinkers and cell phone users (that just about covers
everyone). I'm always scared driving here.
BTW, my V1 kept me out of trouble one more time this morning on the
highway. As soon as I passed the state trooper I experienced some of that
dreaded Audi "Sudden Acceleration".
