Boston area listers! Qtails mailing list membership drive!

Ok, after several people emailed me back saying "hey, I never heard about
it!", I've decided to cut corners for the sake of membership :)

If you want in on the arrangements and announcements for the Boston area
"q-tails"(cocktails, qtails, get it?  Ha ha, yhea, pretty bad, I know) then
just email me and say so.  I'll add you by hand; it's easier than
explaining how to sub :)  If you want to post, send email to
"qtails@pdikeman.ne.mediaone.net."

Please do not send forwards, knock-knock jokes, intern jokes, "Top 10"
emails,  hoax cookie recipes, virus alerts, or so on.  We all get that junk
from people at work already :)

Just so you know, we usually shoot for the first wed or Thursday night(I
think); I imagine we should alternate between them but it always seems to
end up being wed nights.

So, if you're in the Boston area and enjoy getting together with a buncha
chowdahheads for some good talk, food, and beer(I guess), email me!  Hang
out with the likes of:

-Sean Ford(the official organizer of the qtails list, who has been on
"extended administrative leave" from qtails)
-Andrew Duane(whose q's come up with the most unusual ways to break
themselves and/or annoy him)
-Ian Duff(who makes cameo appearances)
-Don Hoefer(MA resident Coupe expert)
-Chris Miller(NH resident 200q 20v expert)
-Huw Powell(who we have yet to see!)
-Paul Royal(Mt. Washington organizer!)
-Peter Sward(who finally subscribed after wondering why he never heard
about anything :)
-Rob Winchell(MA resident 200q 20v expert)
and last but not least,
-myself(the qtails equivalent of Steve Jobs, the
not-offical-but-somehow-there-anyways listmaster)

not to mention the out-of-region listers our fame attract like Stott(ME?)
and Bruce(CO!)  Maybe we'll even get a few surprises from the 10 or so
lurkers on the qtails list(you know who you are!)

PS:Though a "cocktails" list, there is always something for the non-alcohol
drinker(like myself), so don't be afraid to join up because of that!  We
usually end up at a place that has fairly good(if not excellent) food.
