Update on Low Oil Pressure Indicator Light on 86 4kcs Q



Read below this paragraph if you want to understand the whole scenario.

	So anyway I talk today to a couple of mechanics at the Audi dealer and
somebody at local used parts outlet and they tell me to try getting a OEM
oil filter.  So I figure what the hell? 8 bucks and I go home drain the oil
install it and refill with the same 10-40 Castrol GTX dino fluid.  The
weird thing is the light quit.  I drove the car around town and on highways
for about 45 minutes and no indicator light.  The light was just coming on
during my test run before filter change, almost the entire time I drove the
car after it warmed up.  The light did appear while I was going up a hill,
twards the end of my 45 minute drive, but for only about a second and went
away.

Could the Oil filter I used really have caused the problem?  

Could the OEM filter really have fixed it?

What a car.
