QCUSA chapter for DC/VA/MD forming

Let me preface this by saying that I am not intending to drum up a battle
about dues, officers, elections, etc with this e-mail.  Those battles were
fought last year and earlier (and confused the HELL out of me, a newbie to
the list at the time!).

There is interest in re-starting the QCUSA chapter for the DC/VA/MD region.
As many of you know (and many don't) you need 12 people at the minimum to
start the chapter.  So far, there are about 10 of us interested in doing so,
on a local level (ie. nobody has told the q-list yet).  I have information
available if you would like to join us.  You can be a current member in
QCUSA or join as a new member.  We (those of us interested in this) are
doing this out of a desire to move beyond the local club level (which has
its benefits and the CAC WILL stay intact) and have tech sessions, dealer
support and, hopefully, a track session at Summit Point in WV.  Please feel
free to e-mail me if you have any questions.  No flames please, as these
won't chance our minds about going forward with this.  I appreciate it and
sorry for wasting bandwidth.
