My god....thats all i have to say.  Please extend my condolences to your 
friend for their loss and also my happiness to hear that they are ok.

This just seems to be yet another example of just how safe these cars 
are.  I hit the guard rail at about 50 mph, and given that it was at a 20 
degree angle, there is NO frame damage, and that is just on a 4kQ.  These 
cars are so strong it simply amazes me....i dont know how you all feel 
about this...but i have enough experience in these cars to know that even 
if i get in a mother of an accident, chances are that i will at least 
survive....to a point at least...

So lets all be safe and be thankful that we all drive some of the safest 
cars in the world.
