I-5 oil pan mod, I don't get it

Have been reading the postings regarding the Alea Neckas oil pan mod. So
what if he wants to charge $300 for the work, if you think it is worth it
pay the price, if you think it is too expensive don't buy it or do it
yourself. Criticizing someone who took the time to solve a problem and then
made the effort to make the solution available to the rest of us is
ridiculous.
