Spark Plug Wires

I would just like to share some info I received.

I wrote to Cooper Automotive about their spark plug
wires for the 2.8 V6:

Here was their reply, in part:

spark plug and

part.

What a line of bulls**t. If I'm fool enough to pay that much for a set
of wires,
I certainly wouldn't buy some third party set, I'd buy direct from Audi.
Also,
the 2.8V6 doesn't use a distributor, it has coil packs, so how could
there be
"specialized distributor boots/nipples"???????

Has anybody out there tried using ACCEL high performance wires on their
Audi?
I used them on my Toyota truck and had good luck, I was just wondering
how
they would work on the Audi.

Feel free to respond direct, just to keep traffic to a minimum on the
list.
