ISV repair
Many recent posts referred to problems with the ISV. Following the advice of
one lister I dissassembled said unit- completely. Contrary to my usually
conservative methodical approach, I didn't mark the orientation of the 2
parts. After much gnashing of teeth, (car would not idle properly) I discerned
that the orientation was the culprit, and I have no way of referencing the two
peices. I put the unit on the car with the two halves moveable. As the halves
were rotated, the car idled with _great_ variation, from very high RPM to not
at all.
So, I guess I need a to replace my ISV. Car is an 85 CGT. Can anyone help? TIA
