imprezza 555 if you don't mind turbo lag, and you want a warranty...
20v ur-quattro if you've got the money..
integrale if you like tinkering

the evo and 20v ur-q are still wonderful cars years after produciton
ceased (performance car did a feature on these cars against the new awd
cars in their march issue i think).

as an "investment" (chuckle), the 20v, or the integrale evo.
