Poor Idle

HELP!!

1993 90S 2.8V6

When cold, it idles fine. In the morning when it's cool,
I don't have any problems, even when the engine warms
up. In the afternoon, when it's hot and muggy and I've
been running the A/C, the idle won't hold. Usually it
idles around 750 to 900 area on tach. When it starts
acting up, the idle will sometimes drop to 500, if I touch
the gas the idle will come back up to normal and hold
til the next time. Sometimes the idle just drops right down
to zero and the engine dies. Runs fine otherwise, just this
idle gremlin that's is extremely irritating. Was really bad
two days ago when hot (85-90) and humid and I had been
running the A/C and sitting in stoplight traffic.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I am hoping
this is something simple (sic).
