Embarrassing Brake Question
Embarrassing 'cause of all the do-it-yourself upgrade-to-red talk; I'm a
bit of a nervous newbie!
Front and rear pads need replacing on my '90 200Q IA Stage I wagon, used as
the number one family car.
I want to do it myself, but never have before. The Bentley looks pretty
straightforward, although it gives wear limit numbers on the calipers, and
I vaguely remember discussions on the list suggesting they need to be
replaced regardless. I'm OK with pressure bleeding the brake system (thanks
Mike) , but really the most complex thing I've done on the car is the door
lock fix.
Any hints, minor upgrades, cautions, preferred vendors?
Thanks,
Tom F.
