Re: the friendly quattro list

To be quite honest, one of the reasons I finally purchase an older ('88
5kcsq) Audi is **BECAUSE** of the list. If the support from the was not
available, I probably purchased something else.......

My rig is in the shop getting the once over, and as soon as I get it back,
I'll let everyone know how their suggestions worked out. I did pull both
of the bad window switches, WD-40 'em and popped them in. Guess what
*both* are working flawlessly now. As I come up to speed, hopefully I will
be able to return the favors some day.

Thanks again to all those who've been helping, it really makes a
difference.

I think I speak for all of those who try to help - what we would _really_
appreciate is feedback on whether our suggestions work or not.

On average, I have about three "endless threads" a week - these are
incidents in which I (and others) have suggested causes and fixes,
but in which the questioner has not posted the real, final solution.
