Indeed it is.  Been 70s-80sF here in Los Angeles last two days.  The
german iron is at Ingolstadt West, in the hands of the incomparable Mike
Rooney.  He's fixing the sunroof (and of course, a 'few' other things)
in time for our Palm Springs weekend.

Wife: 
"Are you sure we should take it?  It's got soo many miles, and we could
drive my car." (Low mileage 92 Accord EX Coupe).

Me, responding while I'm washing and waxing and spraying and wiping the
Beautiful One (the other Beautiful One, the car) in preparation for the
trip:
 "I think your car needs to be serviced.  Why don't we have it serviced
while we are at the Es?"   (Es = Stouffer's Esmeralda)

Wife:
"Honey, you are soo smart."

None of you tell her, ok?

BTW, she accused me of being obsessed with the Audi, 'cause I washed it
last weekend, then washed her again last night.  I'm sure I can get some
support from you guys, right?  Anybody wash their car more than once in
any week during your Audi ownership?
