The Dunlop saga...

Ordered my 205/55-ZR/16s around 3+ weeks back. Yeah, I know - I must be
crazy ordering such an unusual size. This was done through Discount Tire -
they said 4 days, no problem. First time round - Dunlop lost the order.
Second time, they shipped 15s. Third time, after being confronted with the
invoice, they agreed to pick up the shipping cost and go 3 day select. No
arrival... Fourth time, they agree on 2 day airfreight, they pick up the
shipping. Yesterday, at long last they get mounted on my A-8 rims...
Total cost was 433.00, including a gratuitous lifetime balance by Discount.
With an original price of 96.00 ea, I can't kick. Assistant manager told me
yesterday this is the time when most of the tire companies do their
midseason inventories and its near impossible to get orders w/in 2 weeks...
