Hi all,
I finally go my Audi back on the road.  Yeah ha,  it's been parked for 2
months with an oil leak (long story).  I had a sleeve installed on the
crankshaft.  So far no leaks 700miles.  Now it's time to make some
improvements.  Some months back I ask the list for performance upgrades.  I
got many responses, thanks for all your suggestions.  So now for step one. 
Make it run right as is.  

1) Currently the car gets 22mpg, is that low? Normal?
2) The car hesitates / bogs down for a second starting from a stop, then
she takes off.
3) I purchased a new air filter, any words of wisdom for replacement? The
bently doesn't have any.
4) New cap & rotor installed (bosch)
5) Coil, Wires and plugs changed 10 months ago (all bosch)
6)  I also purchased a new O2 sensor, a little story here.  The guy at the
parts store showed me two O2 sensors.  Same part # on the sensors
themselves but, different connectors an cable lengths.  One $139
replacement for Audi, the other $39 replacement for VW (cut & splice the
wires).  Has anyone else done the VW cut & splice routine?  Stories? 
Helpful hints?
7) Any experiences with the bosch platinum or tri electrode plugs?
