re: inoperable speedo/odo

ok, little rusty, been a while since I've owned a 4k/CGT...find a hobby
shop, the kind that has r/c cars, there are isocyantes (super glues)
that work on nylon, and delrin should cost less than 15 bucks....since
you have the speedo apart only takes a few mins...fixed mine in the mid
80's and if memory serves me...still worked about a year or so ago when
I drove the coupe to Huw's.....but even if it only holds for a year or
two, consider it reg maint. like 5k door handles, blower motors, 100/200
lock linkages, bombs....etc....probably the cheapest of the bunch too,
should only take about 10 mins to pull the cluster...how about having
regiona bottles of said glue, say everyone within a 100 miles, chips in
a buck and once a year have a get together, grill some food, fix
odos....

gee, I've got waaay to much free thought time...
