Virginia City hillclimb is just too cool...

hey all, i just got back from making a short day trip to the virginia
city hillclimb and i have to say, that has to be one of the coolest
things i have ever had the pleasure of attending. where else can you get
a full speed run up a winding 5 mile course in both a viper and a sport
quattro for a piddly 15 bucks.

I have to say, sport quattros are incredible machines. I rode with
Michael Fisher, head of some Quattro club thing. Anyway, i did two runs
with him. He was driving on of Steve Beddor's sport q's and there was a
gearbox problem wiht 3rd so i had to actually hold it in gear while he
was driving....

way too cool....i just wish i had time to ride in the F40 and the Ruf
CTR2's.

Im there next year.

and mark nelson's car with its new H&R springs was doing pretty
well...hehe...although im sure i can take him on the corners....hehe

later...
