Poor Idle when hot

Well the problem is back.

1993 90S with V6 engine. when hot the engine
will die unexpectedly. Noticed it seems to happen
when digital ambient temp readout goes over 100.
Most likely to happen after smoking a V8 Durango
and then shutting down to fill up fuel. Underhood
temps soar and then problem starts. Had to take the
S.O.s Protege on weekend trip, didn't want to be
cussing during rush hour traffic.

Interesting point. My sister's 1993 Pontiac Grand Am
with 3.3 liter engine is having same problem, but more
often. Also experiencing poor mileage and rough idle,
as am I. Only getting 22-24mpg around town,
understand this is low for this vehicle.

I figure I will call Audi to see if they have any clues,
Will also call some of the area shops listed on the QList
page, see if they have any insight. Pontiac dealer has been
dicking around with my sister's car for over a month now.
Including plugs and wires and all that crap.
