Intermittent low boost w/ QLCC chip

Help!!!


I've got the chance tomorrow to spend some time at Milan Dragway here in
Michigan courtesy of Eaton Corporation  and I was interested in bringing my
86 5kcstq along to see what it can do.  Unfortunately, I've been having
intermittent full boost which seems to folow no particular pattern

Graydon installed the QLCC code and when it works, I get the proper 14 psi.
But at all engine temps, the boost will sometimes not be there.  I will
only see about 6 psi.

I have checked the air temp and engine temp sensors and they are ok.  No
codes in the computer either.  I did not check the 4 prong multi function
sensor yet.  If this is giving a bad signal to the ECU, the safety (high
engine temp) should kick in, right?

If this is whats happening, is there any way to fool it so I can run
tomorrow??  any ideas would be greatly appreciated...
