I did the EXACT same thing with my car and it's the wrong thing to do!

My problem was simple -- others may admit they have done the same -- the
degreaser somehow affected my spark plugs/wires/'distributor cap  and they
had to be removed and dried before re-installing.

The car still hesitated for weeks afterward  I would remove the plugs
(very careful -- aluminum!) and dry them off with a hairdryer -- if that
doesn't do it, you may have remove all three and dry them..
