Fun with parts suppliers

     6 months ago I fitted some knoi's to my quattro. Fitting them went 
     fine apart from I was given 4 drive shaft nuts all same size, but the 
     rear drive shafts are bigger (32mm not 30mm). Pity the parts shop 
     (Murray MacDonalds Hatfield, UK) didn't know that. Worked out they 
     were the wrong size when we had chewed up the end of the cv joint with 
     the wrong sized nut. Anyway, fitted the old nut's on as a temporary 
     measure. Now the thread on the cv joint is completely gone so I went 
     down to Euro Car Parts on Saturday to get a new CV joint.... came away 
     with what turned out to be a front CV joint for a 2 ltr 2wd 90. Went 
     back there yesterday to get the correct part, or so I though. This 
     'new' cv is almost identical to my one (looked so in the shop) but the 
     input spline that accepts the drive shaft (and indeed the whole cv) is 
     about 2 mm bigger than mine (I think it's for a urq). So I'm off back 
     to Euro Car Parts today (happy happy joy joy) and I was wondering if 
     anyone knows the part number for a coupe quattro(87) and / or ur-q 
     rear outer cv joint JUST IN CASE they try to give me the wrong part 
     (no ! surely not !).
