Re: where'd the oil pressure gauges go?
Bean counters probably nixed them to save the dough. Allot of modern cars
that used to come with pressure gauges don't anymore. Benz for one, used to
have them in a majority of their cars (US), not anymore. Even the C43 is
sans oil pressure gauge.
I also think that (for the most part) modern motors have seen much less
failure problems having to do with loss of oil pressure. This may have
something to of with it too.
I hate it though. My 4kq gave one up in favor of diff locks versus the 4k.
My S4 (100) has one but the S6 (A6) had it replaced by a voltmeter.
