Re: HVAC intake
A more complicated variant to this that I'm using--bend some coat
hangers into a frame that fits in the intake about 1.5", line it with
window screen. Go to a pet store and get some of that polyester filter
material and some activated carbon; put about .5"-1" at the bottom,
about an inch of AC, then a enough filter material to cover it. Snap
the cover back in place over this (make sure that the hangers stick out
far enough so that the basket doesn't fall in! Makes a horrible
mess.......) helps during those winter months when you can't use
recirculate.....
