Re: AllData CD for the 90q?

Can anyone who has the actual AllData CD for the 90q (88-on in the US)
comment on its value-for-money? I know there's a bit of difference between
the individual CDs, so I'm only interested in that particular CD. They
sound like a bargain in comparison with the Bentley, which probably means
that they're less detailed, but I could live with that for a while. Even if
it means starting up SoftWindows every time I need the CD... I'm getting a
bit frustrated with having to ask for help every time I want to do
something on my car, and the Olyslager manual for the FWD 80 was barely
adequate for that car, let alone for the 90q.

I have the Alldata CD for that very vehicle and it is comprehensive (except
for one case I discovered) in its coverage of the TSBs. For this I thought
it was worth it. The repair information, available for a modest increase in
cost, I thought was less useful and limited (read succinct). It is not a
Bentley on a CD. As I already had the Bentley, my impression was no doubt
influenced by my experience with it. I am aware that AllData provide CD
repair information to garages. I do not know if those disks have more
extensive data. Overall, I would rate the AllData to the Bentley as the
Bentley is to a Helm Inc. Corvair repair manual. (For those who weren't
born then, you get step by step instructions with photos for nearly every
step.)
