You can pull the clutch connectors and jumper 12V to the clutch
directly. The clutch should engage.
I have had problems with the connectors at the evaporator temp control
switch which prevented the clutch from cycling on both my '86 5ktq and my
'91 200q. Cleaning the connectors and the switch contacts solved the
problem.
