Some thoughts:
If you have been lurking on the list for 8 mos. you have probably heard
of most of these.
You did not say how the exhaust restriction test turned out.
I believe the WG heat shield thermoswitch is the one that turns on the
injector cooling fan when the under hood temps. get high after shut
down. If you ground the wire to chassis the fan should come on. This
switch would not affect driveability.
1) Pull the fault codes to make sure all is O.K with the ECU.
2) Check for vacuum leaks - intercooler, hoses, etc.
3) Check the duty cycle of the OXS Freq. Valve. It should be 48-50%. One
way to check for vacuum leaks is to minitor the DC while
pushing/disturbing the vacuum hoses and if there is a leak the DC will
jump/shift.
