personally I never mix tires... I have seen too many cars in the wall at the
track due to this... but I am surprised that you were treated like that...
in the past they were, at times, the only ones willing to do different
fitmets to a car... when Porsche wouldn't give any information on the then
new (89) C4 in regards to different tire sizes etc. and no other shops would
be willing to try different things for me Tiremag not only tried strange set
ups.... they didn't charge anything for the rims and tires that didn't work
well (and many saw a day at the track before being returned). I hope that
this one incident doesn't put everyone off of them as I have found them to
be nothing but helpful in the past.
