Modifying steel oilpan for high G's(HOLY BAFFLES!)

Okay I ruined my oilpan gasket (inadvertantly!)when I was pulling the

rear mainseal housing!??%#  So in the process of pricing the 3B oilpan

upgrade etc. to my MC (450.00$$ in parts!#@) I am going to just

use what I have and add some Baffling.

Does anyone profess to have Oilpan baffling expertise. (Planning to copy

what Ive seen on "Hamburger's" V8 road racing oilpans) Im worried about

the pickup and its plastic snapon dam device in regards to adding more

lateral capacity (perhaps another quart).

Any comments would be appreciated!
