>You missed my point.... I'm a Southerner through and through..... but
That's better than all the damn hippies, IMO. The kind that don't shower
for two weeks, then jump in their 1997 Range Rover to go to class. (duh?)
>with nice hunting rifles on it. Problems with the UrQ:
I've always had a problem with that - If you've got a nice gun, it's
tempting for someone to steal; especially with the dumb urban gangbangers
who want any sort of gun just so long as it makes a bang and makes holes in
things.
When you pay >$800 just for the scope, the thought of some schmuck grabbing
it to shoot highway signs makes me cry. Think of that nice handcrafted
glass bed you spent hours perfecting..
(of course, if they knew, they could nail 'em from 1000 yards away)
>1. Width (hunting rifles are too long)
Carbines baby - the sort of thing you need on the range for rabbits that
are in the wrong place at the wrong time, and coyotes that are harassing
your livestock.
>When I visit, I have to borrow Dad's Dually (w/gun rack) just to fit
Ain't that tha truth.. It's odd here, we've got a mixture of cowboys (that
actually deal with cows & livestock), we've got wanna-be cowboys &
rednecks, gangsters and wanna bes, hippies, colledge kids, high school kids
trying to be all of the above, and then a whole shitload of white, middle
to upper class suburbanites. So I wouldn't be surprised to see a 76 Ford
pickup (with gun rack!) talking to a guy in a Merc. SEL at a stoplight.
And yes, I have seen 'regular' cars with gun racks. Hahaaha. Awesome, huh?
I laughed anyway. It was a chevy, I think. (figures)
Peace kids, don't piss off any bulls now..
