That was me.

I believe top speed was almost 80MPH, and that was on the UPHILL
side of Bear Notch Rd. The downhill side is a little bumpy for most
suspensions to handle quite that fast.

Last time I did this road, it was on Paul Royal's Kanc Run, in
my old '89 100Q. Not many HP, lots of weight, but a complete new
suspension including all bushings and other rubber bits. The car
was as tight as a drum. Did the 10-mile road 3 times in 25 minutes.
Do the math.


No bumper stickers allowed on my car (except Sugarloaf and
Wildcat), but I considered an "I brake for Pathetically Slow
Motorcycles" window shade :-)

You know something's wrong when you are royally (sorry, Paul)
pissed about someone doing the speed limit.
