There was a point where you+Kirby passed a van and we couldn't; shortly
after we did, I hit 85 or so on a straight section trying to catch up to
you two. The guy in the 4k behind me got a run for his money...I didn't
see him for a bit after I took off :)

Yhea, I found the 200q was bouncin' around a little too much. Every time I
hit a bump (which was amusingly outlined in orange paint) on a sharp curve
the car would slip a little. Pretty damn good for Pirelli touring tires,
and original(!!) shocks and bushings.** Some of those bumps(inverse
potholes?) were pretty damn big, and reflecting, yhea, I'd say Boomer did
pretty well!

And averaged almost twice the legal speed limit the previous run :)
My GPS unit(when it wasn't falling off the dash on curves) reported
61.something for an average speed; I think market limit was mostly 40, with
30 in a few spots and 20 on the hairpin curves.

My driving routine went something like this:

take curve
see/hear GPS unit slip off dash<slip><bash><clunk>
exit curve
shift, steer, and catch GPS unit in free(huh?) hand(that's the interesting
part)
avoid Kirby's bumper
replace GPS unit on dash
repeat
:)

After about 3 curves, I had to re-adjust my A/C vents to direct towards the
steering wheel...

Coming up on that "HAIRPIN CURVE 20 MPH" sign at 60mph gave new meaning to
the word "excitement" and I'd say those UFO brakes held up nicely; I take
back my previous comment a few months ago about UFO brakes not being that
strong :)

That sure was fun, and I had a great time on that road listening to BB
King("Ain't Gonna Worry My Life Anymore") which was just long enough for
the road.

I guess it should be emphasised that if we had seen a cop we all would have
been in _deep_ dog food...

**The previous owner(#2) provided all his repair reciepts; there is no
record of new shocks or bushing replacements. It's possible owner #1
replaced them, but if so, that means those shocks have probably 60k miles
on them. #2 owner put quite a few miles on the car in two-three years, all
of them highway(he worked in sales for some optics company.)
