Proper conduct - both hands on the wheel

Yes, I would tend to agree... *No hands* claims of anything, really makes
some of us smile. Dave, Phil and "others", someone please explain to me
*what* no hands means in terms of chassis dynamics while turning (off list is
fine). Matt shared that his Rabbit and his Accord don't self correct either.
My NON-torsens don't self correct either, locked or no. So, Phil, the reason
a lot of us are chuckling, is because the leap of logic proposed by you and
Dave, seems to be really lost in some basic chassis dynamics (and Greg, I
really was trying to make this as light as the *no fade* in braking
performance argument:).
Phil, your unsub threats, though *concerning*, are interesting, cuz few of us
can tell when you really are (your habit, sir, is well documented - you are an
addict just like the rest of us:). BTW, I have been for over a year. What's
the point? Jumping on a self center steering argument in justifying a device,
is probably one of the most 'outrageous' threads to date. Then, to have a guy
that tries to *remove* all doubt as to 'physics' by waving to a bunch of
scubie drivers while turning. Is it me AND Jeff, or did someone hit the
comedy channel button by mistake?
We all appreciate 'good' information. Right now, we have a huge minority,
that wants to argue that dumb devices are smart. They just aren't. That's
the bottom line. Lifting hands from the wheel, Phil's civil disobedience, and
sharing grassy knoll stories, just doesn't change the bottom line.
Me, I'm totally satisfied with a guy that takes relatively simple concepts,
misunderstands them, then posts to the list a *no hander* argument as the
final word. I'm an idiot, and I'm laughing like one now, and I don't need to
hear anymore. And I still invite Dave and/or Phil to "prove" all they want
next Jan 31. Cuz all the stands, and rhetoric, and slams, just turns into a
spider-fest when the cf turns to 150k gals of frozen water, btdt. Any
doubters? The invitation is open to all quattro nuts (and some of the best
skiing in this country to boot).
Looking forward to Pikes Peak, where there are no spiders, I can share laughs,
beers, stories, and personally meet a bunch of folks on this list that have
tolerated my passion for understanding this particular DGJFD we call torsen.
And, as always, I promise to drive with both hands on the wheel, torsen or
non.
