$300 for lifter work?  Aw, do it yourself!  It's fun!  Spend a hundred 
bucks on lifters, and do the water pump and timing belt too for less than 
a hundred more.

(Yeah, I know it's not for everyone.  Just thought I'd give some 
different advice! ;-P)
