As Cobram pointed out earlier......

(And I didn't know this :-)  The 4.2 and the 3.6 support systems we'll
call them are vastly different and do not lend themselves to easy swapping
of the 3.6 engine for a 4.2.  I have thought of this swap more than once.....

Thinking ok, I can probably sell my engine for 4-5k and buy a 4.2 for ? 
who knows...., then swap a few electrics....and wallah 276hp :-) Yeehaa!!!!
Sorry got a little out of control there....

What was I talkin about ? oh yeah,  4.2 won't go in 3.6 engine bay...

Alas,  The 5 speed floor pan is also very different as well from an automatic
floorpan.  The auto needs a bit more room than the 5 speed, hence a wider
tunnel to fit all that stuff in.... suffice to say there are loads of
differences...
