Cordless drill worked for me on my 4k switch. I found 3 open/high
resistance conections.
1. the actual switch contact.
2. corroded crimp connectors molded inside the plastic of the switch
3. bad connection inside the connector to the wiring harness. (not where
the two 3 prong plugs meet, but where the switches' wires enter the 3
prong connector.) I found no way to fix this one as I couldn't get the
thing off the intake manifold bracket.
