All data on AllData
I seem to have started another thread on AllData CDs, but to my knowledge
there's no real consensus here. Thanks though to everyone who's given his
opinion on this subject.
I agree that the AllData CDs seem to be no substitute for the revered
Bentley. You get what you pay for, n'est-ce pas? However, I can't afford to
spend the considerate sum required for a Bentley right now, so I was hoping
to get by with the CD to explain a few things I've been wondering about
while lying under my car or under the hood*, while removing the need to ask
you guys the newbie stuff that's been asked a million times already... I
guess that's out of the question, as the CD's mostly useful for its tech
bulletins which don't really explain the workings or the locations of
certain parts.
*my first fuel-injected car, my first car that's more complicated than my
bicycle actually...
Thanks for the input all!
Tom
PS now if the current discussion with AllData will lead to a better product...
