Oh yes, PS, don't use no stinking crimp connectors!  strip some wire,
slide on a piece of heat shrink tubing and solder the darn thing
properly!

If you have to crimp on the end-of-wire connector, solder and heatshrink
that after crimping.  Leave enough wire that the solder stiffened part
is not under strain.
