I love the idea, and Dan, I'd be willing to do some editing on
this for the list web site.  The idea of having a separate address
to send or cc: material to is great, so that maintainers won't have
to sort through every message on the list for stuff to add.  Count
me in.  For the categories, I like the way Ti Kan has the mods to
his 4000 split up at http://sunsite.unc.edu/~mddb/tikan/audi/4000.html
