NorCal Audi Event Write-up

We just wanted to thank the qlist members
that joined our NorCal A4 Owners Club get
together today in Redwood City at the
Malibu Grand Prix, and then later for lunch
at the Shore Bird Restaurant in Princeton/
Half Moon Bay. In total we had 35 Audis
show up for the event, 34 at the go-cart
place, and then one late comer at just
the lunch. Twenty nine A4s and 6 non-A4s
were there. The qlisters that I remember
were Ti Kan, Derek Daily, Michael Williams,
Arun, and two others whose names currently
escape me at the moment. In total, it turned
out to be a great event for all Audi owners.
The NorCal A4 club tends to have these types
of events about every month or so.

BTW, the low time seemed to have been received
by our own Jack Thomas, that ran a 54:54,
followed soon thereafter by Chris Boynton with
a 54:57. Good job boys....

Just to give the qlisters advanced warning,
we are intending to have our NEXT event at
an Autox in Marina CA (NASA event). It is
at the Marina Airfield just north of Monterey
on Route 1. It is being held Sunday, August
23rd. At this point we have not determined
the starting time of the event. Now you can
come to compete with us, or you can come to
watch and observe what the A4 and other Audis
can do on an autox course. In any event,
please come. We anticipate at least 15 A4s
at this time. And I know Derek Daily is up
for it...right Derek?

Just to reiterate what we have said before,
any Audis are welcome at our NorCal A4 Owners
Club meetings. We would be glad to have an
experienced Audi journeyman like yourselves
at any of our meetings and events.
