A/C performance

All this talk about A/C performance and radiators reminded
me of something.

Remove any shrouds from the back of your radiator, then with
compressed air or a garden hose with a nozzle, blow air or water
through the radiator/condensor assembly from the rear out the
front, creating a reverse flow. This should dislodge
any dirt, insects, or whatever that could be blocking air flow.
I've seen this done on older vehicles and you wouldn't believe
the crap that comes flying out. Remove the shrouds so that you
can do this to the entire area of the radiator. This also gives you
a chance to check for corrosion on you radiator fins, they should
bend slightly and then be able to be bent back, if they just crumble
into dust, it's time for a new radiator.
