I wouldn't worry about it. These things need 3 wires. One, as you have
pointed out, is ground. The other two are for power. The one with the higher
rated fuse is for a constant +12v, and the other is for switched +12v, to
connect to your radio's power antenna wire or if there isn't one of those to
connect to a circuit which is on when the car is on. It doesn't require much
current, so don't worry about where you connect it. Just make sure it's a
switched circuit so you don't run your battery down if you park your car for a
while.
