No problem. We've all BTDT. It takes a lot more to quickly and publicly
apologize. Well done.
And trust me, many of us have committed some pretty interesting booboos.
Friend of mine asked 3 times how my job search was going, ostensibly to
private mail, but in fact to the Land Rover list. Oops.
I once forwarded some confidential sales information to sales-l (internet
discussion group) rather than to sales (internal alias). And no, that
booboo wasn't related to my recent job search :)
Which, by the way, is over. I quit my job and am starting my own software
company. If anyone has a bunch of $$$ to invest in an Internet startup, or
is an experienced software developer in the Boston area, drop me a note...
I'll tell you more offlist :)
