Re: Compressor, she go "Ptooey"

I just replaced my Nippendoso compressor with one I got at the junkyard. My
"new" one was recharged with R12 yesterday and so far, so good :-)

I was wondering how difficult it would be to rebuild the broken one. I've
never done that before and I thought it could be a fun thing to try & learn
about. On a scale of 1 to 10, with a 1 being changing an oil filter and 10
being a complete engine rebuild, how would you rate it? How long did it take
you? Where did you get the special clutch tool you mentioned?

Once I'm done, should I keep it to replace the replacement? Or is there a
market for the compressor?
