Re: Passat
The new Passat IS the A4. Just has a stretched belly pan and
different sheetmetal. Buy the Passat and you get the advantage
of having the Audi AWD instead of the VW version, plus
you pay a few grand less. Also, right now the Passat only
comes with the 1.8Turbo, but my understanding is that
next year it will have the 30valve V6 available.
Otherwise, she will have a rock solid vehicle for the next
20 years or so.
